High-End Rail Journey Set to Enhance Tourism and Showcase UAE’s Diverse Landscapes
Etihad Rail, the developer and operator of the UAE National Rail Network, has joined forces with Italian luxury hospitality company Arsenale to provide a unique luxury train experience that celebrates Emirati culture and heritage. The luxury train will traverse the UAE and extend to the wider GCC upon completion of the GCC Railway.
Pioneering Luxury Cruise Service
In a statement, Arsenale remarked that the UAE would be among the world’s first countries to host a luxury cruise service aboard a fully customized train. The service will comprise 15 luxury carriages journeying through notable destinations, including Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Fujairah, and the Liwa desert, showcasing the country’s diverse landscapes.
Celebrating Italian Craftsmanship
The carriages will undergo a complete refurbishment at specialized factories in Italy, underscoring Arsenale’s commitment to Italian craftsmanship and design excellence. The venture bolsters the UAE’s tourism sector while showcasing the country’s rich heritage and beauty to global visitors.
Further Collaborations Announced
Etihad Rail also announced six other agreements at the Middle East Rail Exhibition and Conference, including partnerships with DHL Global Forwarding, integrated logistics provider MICCO, Morocco’s national railway operator ONCF, global technology company Uber, drone cargo specialist SkyGo, and the Fujairah Natural Resources Corporation (FNRC).
