UAE (United Arab Emirates) has given visa-free entry facility to citizens of 82 countries. Tourists coming here can get two types of visas.
Visa on arrival
30-day visa: which can be extended for another 10 days.
90-day visa: non-extendable.
Citizens of GCC countries
Citizens of GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries can enter without the need for a visa or sponsor, using their passport or ID card.
Indian Citizen
Indian nationals holding a normal passport can obtain a 14-day visa on arrival. However, their passport should be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival.
Entry permit required
People who are not eligible for visa-free entry or visa on arrival must have an entry permit issued by their sponsor.

The issuance of this entry permit by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs depends on the purpose of the visit to the UAE.
