UAE seals another restaurant after violation. Name and location of the unit disclosed

A restaurant in the United Arab Emirates has been sealed for allegations of violating food-related regulations. The restaurant, located in Al Ain, faced official action. The Hollowmeat Restaurant on Latifa Street was actioned upon on Tuesday and has been closed down.

Despite multiple warnings, the restaurant did not amend its practices, according to the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, which prompted the stringent action.

Infestation Found in the Food Storage Area

The restaurant is accused of neglecting cleanliness. Officials stated in their release that pests were found in the restaurant’s food storage area. This could have severe negative impacts on customers’ health and could potentially make them ill.

Multiple Warnings Issued to the Restaurant

Authorities have disclosed that the restaurant had been issued warnings multiple times. The investigation found that the establishment had not met full safety requirements. Pests were found in the kitchen and dishwashing area. The restaurant had previously been issued three notices.
