The Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone (SPC Free Zone) has launched a fast-tracked business setup process, allowing companies to secure their business licenses within just 45 minutes. The initiative aims to attract businesses in the publishing, creative sectors, and allied industries, offering solutions tailored to their specific needs.
A Variety of Business Activities
Potential investors can choose from 1,500 diverse business activities. The free zone, the world’s first publishing-centric free zone, also introduced a limited-time package to reduce licensing and setup costs, further enticing businesses to join the region’s most extensive publishing ecosystem.
Comprehensive Business Package
For just Dh14,500, new entrants will receive their 45-minute business license, one investor visa, and the option to combine up to three activities from the available selection. This inclusive package also covers essential document processing, like the memorandum of association (MoA), lease agreements, share certificates, certificates of formation, and business activity certificates.
Moreover, the package streamlines administrative processes, including E-channel registration, establishment card issuance, and UAE residency in less than five days, alongside Emirates ID typing.
Business Support and Benefits
Companies setting up in the SPC Free Zone will have access to a range of business support services, including corporate banking assistance. They can also avail furnished offices or customizable unfurnished spaces, the region’s only print-on-demand facility, and strategic access to sea ports on the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman.
These businesses will benefit from Sharjah’s pro-investor legal and regulatory frameworks, and its well-connected business environment, making it an ideal gateway for both mainstream and emerging market sectors.
In line with its commitment to enhancing Sharjah’s status as a global hub for the creative and knowledge sectors, SPC Free Zone provides unique opportunities for regional market expansion and global impact.
