GulfHindi English Desk: Indian pilgrims face various difficulties in Saudi Arabia. Pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir have reported difficulties in accommodation and food. Due to a lack of proper guides, they had to face many challenges during their journey. In another incident, pilgrims had booked a tent in Mina, but upon arrival, they found out that someone else had already occupied it. After discussing the issue with the authorities, they were advised to adjust in the same tent where there was not enough space to place their feet.
Furthermore, there was no arrangement for food and drink. A pilgrim claimed to have stayed hungry for two consecutive days. Additionally, there were complaints of having to wait for 30 to 50 minutes for the restroom. This created inconvenience, especially during prayer time. The pilgrims also mentioned that no member of the Haj Committee came to their aid despite their complaints.
When they were instructed to go to Jamarat, they had no idea about the route or any information regarding how to reach there. Some pilgrims were even advised not to file complaints when they expressed their grievances.
Overall, Indian pilgrims faced several difficulties during their pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia, including accommodation, food, lack of guidance, and poor sanitation facilities.
