More than 2,000 people congregated in Sharjah Industrial Area 2 to participate in the auction, which featured a selection of 360 pre-owned cars. The cars, ranging across various budgets and preferences, offered buyers an opportunity to get their hands on deals that could otherwise cost almost double at a dealership.

All cars were available for inspection in advance and were on “green light,” meaning that any single bid of Dh500 or more could secure a vehicle. In addition to the car deals, participants also had the chance to win gold bars, smart TVs, and smartphones, among other prizes.

Zuhair Rashidi, Executive Director of Marhaba Auctions, said the auction primarily focused on economy class cars and aimed to cater to the diverse demands in the market. He added that people could bid on cars for 30 to 40 percent below the market price.
