Indian Expats Arriving Kuwait Must Follow New Guidelines. Fine Announced by Authorities

Indian nationals traveling to Kuwait must adhere to specific visa regulations. Those on Employment/Work Visas need a Residency Permit within 60 days, while those on Tourist or Family Visas must exit before their visa expires. Failure to comply results in penalties, potential deportation, and re-entry bans set by the Kuwait Government.

Indian nationals arriving on Employment/Work Visa should get Residency Permit stamped through their Employer/Sponsor within 60 days of their date of arrival in Kuwait. (If not, Penalty fee of KWD 2/- per day is charged by Kuwait Government authorities.)

Civil ID should be applied for and prescribed payment should be made within 60 days of your date of arrival in Kuwait. (If not, Penalty fee of KWD 20/- is charged by Kuwait Government authorities.)

Indian nationals arriving on Tourist Visa should exit Kuwait before the date of expiry of Visa period. (In case of overstay, Penalty fee of KWD 2/- per day is charged by Kuwait Government authorities. They might also face Deportation and re-entry ban.)

Indian nationals arriving on Family Visa should exit Kuwait before the date of expiry of Visa period. (In case of overstay, Penalty fee of KWD 10/- per day is charged by Kuwait Government authorities. They might also face Deportation and re-entry ban.)
