According to the Income Tax Department’s e-filing portal, 11,30,85,146 individual users have registered, and 2,61,07,869 income tax returns have been filed. Out of these, 2,40,69,116 returns have been verified, and the Income Tax Department has processed 1,12,91,905 returns.
This year, taxpayers are showing great enthusiasm in filing their income tax returns. Only by July 11th, 2 crore people had already filed their ITR, which is faster compared to the previous year.
