Allcargo Logistics has made an investment of Rs 406.71 crore to acquire 1.50 lakh shares in GKEPL. With this, Allcargo now holds a complete stake in the company, controlling a total of 100 percent. Allcargo’s subsidiary, Gati, already held a 70 percent stake in GKEPL, and with this acquisition, the company has now fully consolidated its ownership.

Implications of the Acquisition

This acquisition highlights Allcargo’s commitment to solidifying its presence in the competitive express logistics sector. The integration of GKEPL into Allcargo’s broader operations enables the company to leverage GKEPL’s operational capabilities and customer base, resulting in potential business synergies and enhanced growth opportunities.
