ICP Releases Administrative Fines for Emirates ID and Residency-Related Services. Comprehensive List of Administrative Fines

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) has unveiled a list of administrative fines on its official website. This list comprises penalties related to Emirates ID and services connected to residency and foreigners’ affairs.

Fines for Delays in Registration and Renewal of ID Card

Delay in registration and issuance of an ID card incurs a fine of Dh20 per day, capped at Dh1,000. Similarly, delay in renewing the identity card after 30 days from its expiry results in a Dh20 fine per day, also with a Dh1,000 maximum.

Penalties for Providing Incorrect Data and System Misuse

A hefty Dh3,000 fine will be levied if the service recipient provides incorrect data. Further, system misuse attracts a penalty of Dh5,000. Typographical errors in the application by system users will cost Dh100.

Non-cooperation and Violations by Establishments

Hindering employees’ work or failing to cooperate with them results in a fine of Dh5,000. Moreover, issuing visas or entry permits for an establishment not engaged in any activity leads to a massive Dh20,000 penalty.
