Dubai ruler announced Dubai city expansion. Keep visa, permit ready for new jobs announcements.

Dubai’s coastline will undergo a 400 per cent expansion by 2040, extending its public beaches from the current 21km to 105km. This announcement was made on Thursday by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Increased Services and Amenities

This expansion will also bring a 300 per cent increase in services offered at these venues. These will comprise shops, restaurants, water sports, family spaces, and a marine sanctuary.

Part of Dubai Urban Plan 2040

This ambitious plan is part of the Dubai Urban Plan 2040, an initiative Sheikh Mohammed discussed during his visit to Jebel Ali Beach with top officials associated with the plan.

Sheikh Mohammed posted on Twitter: “Dubai will continue to compete with itself to be the perfect place for visitors and residents. Our goal is to consolidate the leading position achieved by Dubai as one of the most beautiful and most developed cities in the world.”
