In the incident of a BJP worker urinating on a Dalit in public, the BJP has taken control of the situation and is trying to minimize the damage. The state chief, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, called the father of the victim, Dasmath Ravat, to the CM’s house, where he respectfully offered him a seat and touched his feet as a sign of respect. He then applied a tilak on his forehead and honored him by waving a shawl. The CM also presented the father with a coconut and a statue of Lord Ganesh. The CM expressed his sorrow over the incident. He said that the incident has deeply saddened him, and the Chief Minister has apologized to the father of the victim for the incident.

The CM told Dashmat, “You are now my friend.” The CM asked the victim’s father, “Are the children studying?” The victim replied with a “yes”. The CM then asked if they were receiving scholarships. The answer was “Yes, they are receiving scholarships.” The CM said that there are no other problems. The answer came back that there are no other problems. The CM placed a hand on his shoulder and said, “If there is any problem, let me know.” In response to the CM’s question, the victim’s father said, “We work as porters at Kuberi Mandi. I work as a loader on a hand cart.” After this, the CM said, “I was very saddened to see that incident. I apologize because it is my duty, for me, the public is like God.” After this, the CM said, “Let’s have breakfast now.”
Actually, the incident of a tribal youth being urinated upon by BJP workers has heated up the politics of the state. Congress is connecting this issue with tribal dignity. The BJP government of the state is being targeted for crimes related to tribal people that are consistently happening in the state.
